#PEDRALITALES is on air from March 2020

The new Pedrali advertising campaign showcases the brand’s lifestyle

Pedrali is launching #PEDRALITALES, its new 2020 advertising campaign. The 100% Made in Italy company aims to convey the elegance of the Brand’s lifestyle through its new indoor and outdoor collections, for which it has picked a suggestive location and a celebrated photographer. The campaign project is curated by Studio FM with the collaboration of Studio Salaris for styling.

The eight #PEDRALITALES shots are taken by Andrea Garuti, the Italian photographer acclaimed for his reportages on metropolitan cities and his collaborations with Italian and international magazines.

Designed by the firm Rebelo de Andrade, the story of Casa 3000 unfolds in a truly suggestive location. With its striking shape and colour, the building soars within a wild landscape of cork oaks and umbrella pines stretching as far as the eye can see in the Portuguese region of Alentejo, in Alcácer do Sal, close to the exclusive Comporta area. The archetypical shape of the house is characterized by clean, simple lines and a bright red colour. The result is a dreamlike atmosphere that evokes the romantic image of a red house at the edge of the woods, like something out of a fairy tale, or the house on the prairie, reinterpreted in a contemporary key.

The harmonious and dynamic architecture of Pedrali’s latest collections brings eight scenes to life with four outdoor and four indoor settings. The photographs showcase the products, which eloquently express the interaction with their surroundings. The colour contrast between the red of the house and the nuances of the furniture is particularly impactful, building a constructive dialogue and a link between architecture and design.

The first of four outdoor shots feature Soul Outdoor, the armchair designed by Eugeni Quitllet that expresses the concept of pure creativity. A curved aluminium tubular frame, with classical shapes but solid proportions, clasps an ergonomic seat in shaped teak slats, almost like an embrace. The Concrete table by Pio and Tito Toso, with a concrete base and steel column, completes the scene, drawing the eye to a setting where simple, essential forms are given prominence.

The following two snapshots feature the Tribeca collection, designed by CMP Design, a modern reinterpretation of classic Sixties patio chairs made from steel and woven material. The true icon is reimagined with new materials: a steel frame, combined with the elasticity of a profile in vertically-woven plastic material that is extremely durable, easy to clean and colourful. Handcrafted with meticulous attention detail, this chair is incredibly soft and comfortable and puts a contemporary twist on tradition with its cutting-edge design and quality. The collection’s versatility makes it suitable for a variety of settings: from a veranda to an open-air garden, in which to enjoy the red house’s romantic atmosphere at twilight.

The wireless outdoor lamp by Basaglia Rota Nodari, Giravolta completes the setting with the last outdoor shot, which stages a dehors furnished with Reva, the collection with smooth lines and generous sizes that evokes relaxing and dreamy atmospheres. Its clean design is accentuated by the four tapered legs that support a thin extruded aluminium frame, while the soft cushions offer greater comfort, both for the sofa and the lounge armchair.

The versatile and welcoming shapes of the Buddy table stand out against the red wall of the house, which serves as a backdrop and a link between all the scenes.

The vibrant outer shell is matched by a warm, homogeneous interior with an eclectic, modern and detailed design while the large windows frame the landscapes and flood the rooms with natural light.

Designed by CMP Design, the first setting portrays the living area where natural lighting caresses the sinuous profile of the Jamaica armchair, highlighting the tubular steel backrest, which adds a subtle chromatic element. Characteristic of a modernist collection, the warmth of the ash plywood used with variable thickness on the shell and legs conveys the sense of elegance in soft tones that looks to the past, while reinterpreting the forms with a twist.  Within this setting, the Babila table accentuates the 100% Made in Italy design of Pedrali’s furnishings.

The second indoor setting presents Remind, the armchair designed by Eugeni Quitllet, evoking the soft sinuous curves of wooden chairs from the late Nineteenth century. Made of polypropylene and featuring a breathable seat and backrest, Remind unveils exceptional attention to detail. Each element is conceived to ensure total comfort and cosiness, as well as extreme lightness. Like a moment suspended in time, the Fluxo table by Luca Casini, characterized by a stable structure and a distinctive personality, with a subtle and elegant design, contributes to delineate this space.

The other two indoor #PEDRALITALES shots portray two products that are characterized by the campaign’s hallmark elements: the energy of the colour red, the comforting warmth of wood, texture and their quality.

Designed by CMP Design, Folk chair accentuates the concept of simplicity. Its friendly nature, the warmth of ash wood, the soft and compact dimensions seamlessly convey the concept of a chair that speaks a universal language. The solid ash frame embraces the aluminium ring that holds the seat.

Designed by French designer Patrick Norguet, Vic is an elegant and cosy chair marked by simplicity. The backrest that lifts from the seat while remaining tied only at the ends is especially distinctive.  The resulting opening provides Vic with design lightness and eases the handling. Inox table, which this year celebrates a special anniversary, 20 years since its launch, and Tamara suspension lamp by Basaglia Rota Nodari, that successfully blends style and elegance, complete the scene.

The #PEDRALITALES advertising campaign will run on architectural, design, news and lifestyle magazines and portals for Pedrali’s target readers.

Pedrali collections design 2020 outdoor spaces

Spring is coming and the desire to stay in the open air animates gardens and terraces. Pedrali products represent the ideal solution to enjoy outdoor comfort and wellness in the sign of colour, style and elegance.

Enigma Suites in Santorini is a location with a magical atmosphere boasting a breathtaking view of the Greek sunset. Plage la Mandala coffee bar in Cannes is the ideal choice to spend moments of conviviality with friends in a colourful environment by the sea. In these two suggestive contexts fit Tribeca seating, designed by CMP Design, recognizable for its summery traits. Tribeca throws shadows of its cords onto the cobblestones of the squares and is selected for bar and restaurants dehors, like Peck CityLife, new destination for the happy hour in Milan recently opened in Piazza Tre Torri, in the heart of CityLife Shopping District. For Caffè del Colleoni, located in the centre of Bergamo, together with Tribeca collection, Elliot table by Patrick Jouin was chosen.

In the suggestive heart of the historical centre of Gallipoli, on Pascaraymondo Suite Palace terrace you can sip your aperitif while enjoying the sunset over the city roofs comfortably seated on Remind armchairs by Eugeni Quitllet. Remind is the choice of Petit Palace Suites terrace in Santorini, one of the 25 small luxury hotel in Europe, from which is possible to contemplate an endless view of Mediterranean blue waters.

The combination of different materials and cutting-edge technologies predominate in Soul Outdoor, which recalls the nautical world. Designed by Eugeni Quitllet, the aluminium version with an ergonomical seat made from shaped teak slats is a special evolution of the original version made of bent wood. The contrast between the curved aluminium frame and the teak ensure a great aesthetic result and a contemporary outdoor style, thanks to the shininess of the metal or the wide range of colours available for the frame, while preserving the shape and the sinuosity of the lines.

Reva collection designed by Patrick Jouin has been chosen to recreate a pleasant and relaxing outdoor corner at Philiaz restaurant, on Caldaro lake in the Dolomites. The versatile and multifunctional collection, that evokes the relaxing, dreamy atmospheres of the warmer season, is composed by an elegant three-seat sofa, a lounge armchair and a sun lounger.

To light up spring nights, Pedrali proposes Giravolta, the wireless, rechargeable lamp with a contemporary design by Basaglia Rota Nodari. Easy to move as required, it has a diffuser that can be turned 360° to direct the light.

Pedrali’s furniture chosen for the exhibition dedicated to Peterzano

Buddy collection of upholstered seating by Busetti Garuti Redaelli was chosen to furnish the lounge area located in the last room of the exhibition "Tiziano e Caravaggio in Peterzano", set up at Accademia Carrara and curated by Simone Facchinetti, Francesco Frangi, Paolo Plebani and Maria Cristina Rodeschini.

The exhibition is set inside the palimpsest of the known art gallery until May the 17th. Pupil of Tiziano in Venice and chief of Caravaggio in Milan, Simone Peterzano is the main character of this exhibition as well as a crucial personality in the artistic landscape of Italian Renaissance. The expositive path, enriched with Tiziano, Tintoretto, Veronese and Caravaggio masterpieces, not only investigates the talent of a little-known painter but also focuses, thanks to exceptional national and international loans, on an important chapter of Painting tradition dated between sixteenth and seventeenth Century.

Supporting “Tiziano e Caravaggio in Peterzano”, Pedrali pursue the path aimed to support and valorization of initiatives and events promoted inside valuable museums and exhibitions #Pedrali4art.

Pedrali Palace of Wonders staged in Stockholm

The Italian company takes part in the 70th edition of  Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair

For the 11th year, Pedrali takes part in the 2020 edition of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, from 4 to 8 February, the leading Scandinavian event for the interior design and lighting.

The #PedraliPalaceofWonders booth, designed by the Milan based architectural studio Calvi Brambilla, welcomes visitors in Hall A07:18 with a contemporary setting, characterized by an elegant and minimal style, featuring real interiors in which the mood is defined by the products themselves

Guests are welcomed in a lounge area furnished with pastel coloured seating units from the Buddy collection, including the two-seater Buddy Sofa, by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, combined with the low tables of the same collection, which contrast with the warm earthy hue of the floor.

Near the lounge area there is an outdoor environment where the key element is Tribeca collection by CMP Design, inspired by the classic Sixties patio chairs made from steel and woven cord. The Elliot tables by Patrick Jouin, with their organic yet elegant forms, complete this composition.

Another main protagonist of this setting is Soul Outdoor, the aluminium version with a seat made from shaped teak slats that is a special evolution of the original version made in bent wood and launched by Eugeni Quitllet last year. This must-have outdoor furniture echoes the same inspiration and flowing lines, but is now made from curved aluminium tube.

On the opposite there are the three settings of the Palace of Wonders, all characterized by a cut, interrupting the composition and leaving space for a rational, explanatory component.

Folk collection, by CMP Design, is the key feature of the first set depicting a modern and welcoming pastry shop with green walls. Key element is a lightweight, durable die-casted aluminium ring that becomes the structural and distinctive element which enables the piece to be easily disassembled, it is a guarantee of the strong company’s commitment to environmental sustainability. The set is completed by Stylus tables and Giravolta wireless lightings by Basaglia Rota Nodari.

The second rooms outlines a a restaurant that, thanks to its style, recalls the world’s top restaurants, where Héra, the armchair designed by Patrick Jouin, takes centre stage.

A century after the beginning of the legendary “Roaring Twenties”, main character on the scene together with Héra is Tamara suspension lamp by Basaglia Rota Nodari, named in homage to Tamara de Lempicka, the modernist painter and inspired to the shape of the headlights of early 20th-century automobiles. Inox tables, which this year are celebrating a special anniversary: 20 years from their presentation dated 2000, complete the set.

The flexibility of modern co-working spaces is finally represented within the last set which focuses on Temps, the multitasking Executive Chair by Jorge Pensi. To complete the setting, Arki-Table adjustable with a height-adjustable top, which makes easier the workday in modern and dynamic offices and Boxie, the modern storage system with wheels by Claudio Dondoli Marco Pocci, that is both light and functional.

In the central area of the booth there is Jazz seating collection, including the new chair, which is combined with Fluxo tables by Luca Casini. There are also Lunar tables by Pio and Tito Toso and Jamaica seating by CMP Design.

Pedrali supports the exhibition dedicated to the feminine universe

In occasion of its sixth edition, Pedrali supports the new exhibition at Palazzo Martinengo in Brescia curated by Davide Dotti and titled “DONNE NELL’ARTE da Tiziano a Boldini”.

The exhibition, inside the palimpsest of the known local museum until June the 7th, tells about how the woman has always had a central role in the Italian history of Art, since the beginnings of the Renaissance until the Belle Époque. The expositive path shows more than 90 masterpieces of artists, such as Raffaello, Tiziano, Caravaggio, Tiepolo, De Nittis, Zandomeneghi and Boldini who, through their works of art, have been able to represent personality, sophistication, temper, sensuality and the finest shades of the feminine universe, focusing on fashion, hairstyle and accessories typical of all eras and geographical contexts.

Some products of Pedrali collection furnish the expositive path. Blitz chairs, Babila armchairs, Arki-Table, Ikon benches and tables, thanks to the adaptability, they perfectly fit in the expositive environment. Wow poufs, Brik umbrella stands and Kado pots are the perfect solution to welcome visitors inside the museum.

Pedrali “Palace of Wonders” at Maison & Objet 2020

For the 10th year, the collections of the Italian company are staged in Paris

Pedrali, the Italian manufacturer of contemporary design furniture for contract and residential projects, takes part in the 25th edition of Maison & Objet in Paris, the international event for home décor and interior design professionals, from 17 to 21 January.

The #PedraliPalaceofWonders booth, designed by the Milan based architectural studio Calvi Brambilla, welcomes visitors at the entrance of Hall 6 in Today Signature (Stand J2-K1), the section dedicated to the interior design that combines originality and innovation.

The stand covers a surface area of 160 sq.m and has a single volume with a markedly architectural feel; it features longitudinal openings set at a 45° angle that create seamless visual continuity between the inside and out; allowing visitors who are strolling along the corridors to peek in and set off on a journey to discover the “Palace of Wonders”.

Guests are welcomed in a lounge area furnished with pastel coloured seating units from the Buddy collection by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, combined with the low tables of the same collection, which contrast with the warm earthy hue of the floor.

Soul Soft, presented as absolute preview at Maison & Objet, is the new special version of the armchair with solid ash wood frame and polycarbonate shell, designed by Eugeni Quitllet in 2018. Soul Soft features a padded and upholstered shell in genuine leather. The new seating faithfully recalls the silhouette of the collection, which includes the outdoor version presented in 2019, subtly accentuating and enhancing its comfort.

The first set depicts a restaurant that, thanks to its style, recalls the world’s top restaurants. Héra, the armchair designed by Patrick Jouin, which embodies the concept of lightness fusing it with that of comfort and cosiness, takes centre stage.

The second room outlines an urban restaurant. The split-level architecture is simple and the choice of elements such as the flooring and wall panelling recalls the place that influenced this set: the Jamaica collection by CMP Design.

Jazz seating collection, including the new chair, is the key feature of the set depicting a modern and welcoming bakery, whose bon-ton style is enhanced by the green walls matched with pink shades. The set is completed by Stylus tables and Giravolta wireless lightings by Basaglia Rota Nodari.

Within the exhibition area, blooming plants on the walls characterize an outdoor environment where the main protagonists are Remind, the innovative polypropylene chair designed by Eugeni Quitllet, and Tribeca by CMP Design. Tribeca is one of the products selected for the 2019 ADI Design Index and competes for the Compasso d’Oro 2020. The Elliot tables by Patrick Jouin, with their organic yet elegant forms, complete this composition. Near the outdoor area, it is possible to sit on Folk chair by CMP Design

Pedrali products have been also chosen for two important spaces inside the central Press Area, located in Hall 6. The lounge area is furnished with the cosy collection of Buddy seating and tables, designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, combined with Giravolta lightings by Basaglia Rota Nodari. In the dining area there are Remind armchairs, designed by Eugeni Quitllet, and Ikon tables by Pio and Tito Toso.

A Christmas that will pass through our hearts

The Pedrali furnishings that we will love throughout the winter

Here we are: it is almost Christmas, the most loved and awaited time of the year. It is the moment to create the perfect atmosphere, able to make everything a little bit magical.

Pedrali proposes three evocative domestic settings, which become the perfect place to live special moments and that, thanks to their sober, warm and elegant style, we will love not only during the holidays but throughout the winter.

A large salon, with forest green walls with two large windows, hosts a convivial moment where Babila table is in the middle of the room, festively set, combined with solid ash wood Nym armchairs. The dark tones of the furnishings are enlightened by Tamara suspension lamps in satin copper finish, that contribute to warm up the atmosphere.

A contemporary living room, whose main feature is the three-seater Buddy Sofa, with its generous upholstery, where you can relax while chatting with friends. The setting is completed by Buddy poufs and low tables, the upholstered Gliss Swing lounge armchair, that gives a pleasant cuddle by cadencing the rhythm of rest days during holidays, and the light of Giravolta, the wireless lamp inspired by lanterns of past times.

Conviviality is the key theme of the end-of-year holidays. In the last setting the burgundy walls, enriched by high pink velvet curtains, act as a backdrop to a round Inox table combined with comfortable upholstered Jazz armchairs. Buddy low tables complete the setting.
