For the third year running, Pedrali has decided to renew the partnership with “I Maestri del Paesaggio” (www.imaestridelpaesaggio.it), the 6th international festival dedicated to the landscape which attracts to Bergamo the best landscape designers and the most interesting expressions of international landscaping (September 7th-25th).
The 2016 edition aims to think about ‘wild landscape’, the more and more explicit need of the modern man to reconnect himself with nature.
Beating heart of this project are the installations in two squares of Città Alta, coming from the ideas of the students who participated in the 2015 Edition of the Summer School led by the international landscaper Stefan Tischer and Annacaterina Piras.
The makeover of Piazza Vecchia aims at setting up a dialogue between the history and the architecture of the square by means of a section of the biodiversity of the Orobic Alps nature on an undulating walkway. The set-up of Piazza Mascheroni tries to lead children of all ages to the ‘wild’ through a temporary adventure park.
Both Green Squares are furnished with Pedrali’s outdoor collections: chairs, armchairs, chaises longues and tables of the Nolita collection in Piazza Vecchia while Intrigo seats, Laja tables and Brik umbrella stands in Piazza Mascheroni.
