Pedrali for the fifth consecutive year returns to the Swedish capital for the Stockholm Furniture Fair, the most important event for the Scandinavian design furniture and lighting market, that takes place from 4th to 8th February. Among various collections, Pedrali displays the enlarged Malmö family characterized by ash wood according to the Scandinavian taste, the two seats upholstered Zippo sofa conceived for office and contract environments and Babila, an ash seating collection able to move along tradition and innovation with great agility.
Malmö, design Cazzaniga – Mandelli – Pagliarulo Chair, armchair and table have been enriched by new proposals that contaminate lounge areas, waiting rooms and cafes. Lounge armchair is made of solid ash wood in bleached, black or light grey stained finish, plywood shell upholstered with fabric or genuine leather. Coffee tables with lacquered mdf, ash veneered or solid laminate tops, tapered legs in ash wood. Available in five different sizes. Barstools in solid ash wood, plywood shell ash veneered, upholstered seat covered in fabric or genuine leather.
Zippo, design Pedrali R&D Zippo is a two seats upholstered sofa conceived for office and contract environments, featured by essential and fairly lines. A niche of privacy where being isolated from the surroundings, a perfect place for a meeting, working on computer or talking on the phone. The height and structure of side and back guarantee a good soundproof capacity. The seat, made of fire retardant polyurethane foam with variable density and the slope backrest offer an extreme comfort. Along the perimeter runs a zip that outlines its forms, so as to define its name. Zippo is available in two different heights (1000 mm and 1400 mm) and can be covered with fabric or simil leather. Steel tube frame Ø 16mm powder coated.
Babila, design Odo Fioravanti Babila is an ash chair that moves along tradition and innovation with great agility. The legs and the back eyelets are a reminiscence of the craft wooden chairs, while the plywood shell is obtained by an innovative variable thickness working process. The result is an airy and comfortable seating with a careful use of wood. Babila is available with four steel tube legs Ø 16mm and with steel-rod sled frame Ø 10mm. An upholstered panel fixed to the seat is also available; not removable.
